Hypertension is required to do what checks
Patients with hypertension checks to be done as follows:

1. Electrocardiogram and echocardiography, to determine whether left ventricular hypertrophy and arrhythmia.

2.X lines and other inspection (if necessary, to angiography, CT examination diagnosis), to determine whether aortic expansion, extend or narrow.

3. Urine routine and renal function tests, inspection urine protein, urine sugar, serum creatinine, urea nitrogen, potassium, blood uric acid level.

4. Fundus examination fundus atherosclerosis extent.

5. Glucose, blood lipids and blood calcium level of inspection.

6. Conditionally in the 24 hours before treatment to ambulatory blood pressure testing.

7. Younger patients with hypertension should do adrenal B-examination.

On suspicion of renal hypertensive patients should do IVP, renal artery imaging, kidney and renal vein map renin levels and the determination of the activity. Blood, urine and its metabolites catecholamine levels in the pheochromocytoma the diagnosis is of great significance. Others such as blood and urine cortisol and aldosterone levels in the identification of endocrine hypertension is also of great significance.
